Day Two
Today we will unload Emily's stuff, cross Idaho and Montana, and enter Canada. We should end up somewhere between Calgary and Edmonton.
It is 6 degrees in Rexburg (8:30am) and partly cloudy.
I am new to this blog thing, but evidently I am supposed to update them dayly! When I entered Canada, I lost service. We got Kailab service for three days in case of emergencies, but my phone was dead. We did manage to get just over half way before running into trouble...
However, I left off on Saturday; so let's go back there. The supposed short route from Rexburg to Helena cost us about an hour because of snow drifts. Fortunately because of the route we took, we saw some very interesting snowboarders. They were going up hill using parasails. I have pictures of those but won't be able to upload them until I have wi-fi. There are a lot of antelope in Montana!
At the Canadian boarder we passed through customs without trouble and stopped just short of Calgary where we camped in the van at a quiet rest stop. We had a couple cans of chicken soup for dinner and went to bed.
Brrr.
