Mexican Riviera Cruse One of the benefits of working for Holland America Princess Cruises is reduced price trips each year. In March Laura and I went on our first cruise--a 12 day cruise to the Mexican Riviera. We had a great time and got to detox from internet access. The following is from the log I kept of the journey. I went from forgetting what a bus looks like Monday morning to receiving an email Monday afternoon telling me I have my CDL Test Thursday. Ouch. Stressing! These are the checklists for the pretrip inspection I have to memories and do. I don't get to look at the list during the test. This is just the list. Each item also has function and defect to enumerate. The pretrip is one of four parts. The others are the Airbreak Test, the skills test (straight backing, offset backing, parallel parking, 90 degree parking, cone weave, and curb pull up, and then finally the driving test. Better get back to studying. Yes students some of us actually do that:)
And reaching Rexburg at 2:20AM.
ReplyDeleteWe averaged 12mpg and had no mishaps. No pictures as it was dark most of the way.
Great first trip. I'm sure Emily was happy to get her stuff.
