Shore Power

I had a day off today, so naturally I worked all day.

When I headed out from home. I was uncertain what kind of accommodations we would have for the summer. Some possibilities were a dry cabin, boondocking, camping, RV park... Each of these possibilities required different sources of power. Some Camper Vans are equipped for all possibilities but I did not have funds for all that. We started out with a diesel heater for warmth to get across Canada in the winter (it worked great), a bare bones 12 volt system, and butane canisters for cooking. This system got us to Fairbanks. March and April would be spent in the hotel on the company penny while we found summer accommodations.
It now looks like we will be staying at an RV Park with 120v (Shore Power), water and sewer hook ups, and showers. So I spent today working on setting up a 120v shore power system. I cut holes, installed a breaker box with breakers, ran wires, attached electric boxes, and hooked up outlets. I'm tired.

Tomorrow I do High density driving 4 and start preparing for CDL testing after that.
