Winter Takes another Jab at Spring.

Friday arrived with four inches of snow.  Winter hasn't given up yet, but when Spring gains seven additional minutes of sunshine each day, it is not a fair fight. The locals say Spring happens overnight. I can't wait to see it.

We didn't do any driving on Friday because of the snow, but worked on bus inspection instead. Today (Saturday) was a much nicer day, and I finally finished my Medium Density 1 course. It had several tricky right then left turns, a sharp u-turn, a long 360 degree on- ramp loop and my first 55mph road. A special thanks to all the people of Fairbanks for staying home in bed on Saturday morning.

That reminds me--I rode a couple Fairbank's city busses to check them out. 

.   I rode free because I am over 60. 

.   Don't take one before driving as your blood alcohol could exceed legal limits just by breathing the air. 

.   I did get everywhere I needed to go relatively quickly. 

So it was a mixed bag.
